My Friend Indraneil

Indraneil Das was first introduced to me by Roma di my M.Sc. Professor in 1986. Inrdaneil was a meritorious student and extraordinary researcher. He started publishing research articles in international journals when he was doing B.Sc. He had published many articles when he graduated. His research area mostly covered aquatic marine wild life with special emphasis on turtles. He also had a good knowledge on snakes. I learned many things about snakes from him. He had toured extensively in India and abroad for his research work. I have never seen anyone like Indraneil before, he was totally dedicated to his research. When I visited his home in Kolkata I was surprised to see that he had converted his home into a full fledged lab. After completing his M.Sc. from Bhopal [Barkatallah] University, Bhopal he went to U.K., for his D.Phil. After about 20 years Indraneil again contacted me after getting my address from my website. I was thrilled to know that he is now a Professor and settled in Malaysia. His present address is:
